  3. Add whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, and cocoa powder. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  4. Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

  6. Punch down and shape into rolls or small loaves. Place on a baking sheet.

  7. Brush with water and sprinkle oats on top.

  8. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until bread sounds hollow when tapped.

  10. Cool before serving.
