1 large egg

2 tablespoons Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or herbs (optional for flavor)

Cooking spray or a little oil for greasing the jar
Instructions

Lightly grease the inside of a microwave-safe jar or mug with cooking spray or oil.

Crack the egg into the jar, add the Greek yogurt, and whisk together until smooth.

Add the baking powder, salt, and optional garlic powder or herbs. Stir until fully combined and no lumps remain.

Microwave on high for 60 seconds. The bread should rise and be cooked through.

Carefully remove from the microwave (jar will be hot), let cool slightly, then enjoy straight from the jar or turn out onto a plate.

For a sweeter version, add a teaspoon of honey or cinnamon.
